Superb Value

The Barza CF is a great value. Dialed in detent that flips open with authority, yet allows for easy opening with the thumb stud. Super presentation with box, tools and cloth. Came sharp and the fit and finish are really top notch. Suggestions: Make the CF a little more grippy and increase the pass through for closing the knife. I would definitely recommend this knife.

Excellence with one tiny oops, in my opinion!

I just received the Braza with Carbon scales (both sides). This is one beefy knife.
The good/excellent:
I absolutely love the grind, and it's razor sharp upon arrival. The scales are, in my opinion, top notch! Every part of the scales had some attention given, and it shows. I also love that Bastion did not go crazy and add logo's and labels to everything. It has one simple label on top of the spine....classy! The material, S35VN in this instance, was nicely labeled in a discrete area of the ricasso, just behind the thumb stud. Lastly, the pocked clip was well designed and machined and works flawlessly. Somebody put some thought into it, and it shows!
The bad:
I have but one complaint. I sharpen knives and getting to the rear most part of the secondary grind cleanly is iffy at best. The thumb stud is extremely close in-line with the grind bevel and the foremost part of the scales is sticking out a bit far, making it difficult to sharpen that part of the blade. Might I suggest that the scales be cut back a little or the choil be cut longer on the next run and the thumb stud be completely removed or made less prominent. There is really not much use for it since it has a flipper.

All in all, I love the knife. It's a large EDC, and the materials are top notch and excellent machining was done. Nice job, Bastion!

Amazing, lightweight EDC blade

Love this knife! It's a beautiful design with sleek lines, and the Carbon Fiber handles are well sculpted to offer a comfortable and secure grip. I only carry lightweight knives, and this fits the bill for a large lightweight pocket edc blade. The blade arrives razor sharp and holds its edge. Great for general utility use, and works well for food prep on the go. This knife blows my previous Spyderco, SOG, and Benchmade out of the water. The flipper is lightening fast, you don't need automatic. The detent holds it securely closed. Overall, extremely nice knife and you can't beat this price!

Braza S35VN

I knew I was going to get a quality product from Bastion.....obviously. I just got the new knife in the mail and I am simply blown away. Beautiful finish, awesome solid presentation case with tools. The steel is beautiful and razor sharp out of the box. The ceramic ball bearings give the knife a solid movement that is super easy to open, stiff enough to not be dangerous, opens very quickly that can rival many spring assisted knife. The knife is lightweight yet solid enough for heavy duty work.
I am very impressed and will be purchasing more from this fine company.
