It really is addicting.

I was backer of the Kickstarter campaign for the fidget cube. I received mine last week and I've been fidgeting with it a lot. It is not at all related to a spinner.. It's eight aluminum cubes connected together in two rows of four cubes each. You hold it one hand and roll it around into different configurations of the cubes. The cubes can be rolled into several configurations but not in an unlimited number of configurations. Sometimes you get stuck and have to go backwards to try another configuration.

I'm making it sound too complicated. In reality you roll it around without even thinking about what you're doing. That's what makes it relaxing; that you're fidgeting without having to worry about keeping a spinner going at the right speed to keep balanced.

The downside is the price. I got a ;little bit of a discount buying it through the Kickstarter campaign. But $99.99 is just too much for what you get. That's my opinion.
